7th International Seminar on Optimization and Variational Analysis

The 7th International Seminar on Optimization and Variational Analysis (OVA7) will be held in the University of Alicante, Spain, from June 1st to June 3rd, 2016. This edition has some special significance as it will celebrate the 70th birthday of Prof. Michel Théra (Université de Limoges, France).

 

As a token of appreciation for Michel Théra's career and long-lasting service to the journal, Set Valued and Variational Analysis will publish a special issue edited by R. Henrion, M. López and C. Sagastizabal from the Editorial Board, together with J. Borwein and F. Aragón as Guest Editors.

 

Papers evolving about the subjects dear to Michel Théra, namely maximal monotone operators and optimization are welcome.

 

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the Editorial Manager system of the journal (https://www.editorialmanager.com/svaa). They have to select, as article-type from the menu, "Advances in Monotone Operator Theory and Optimization". For special issues, the journal does not accept multiple submissions by the same author or co-author.

 

The submission deadline is September 30, 2016.

 

We request authors who may have intention to submit an article to the SI to express their intention to M. López (marco.antonio@ua.es) before June 10, 2016.
